The rules we hold ourselves to

The Charter

A platform that asks people to trust it with their social life owes them its constitution in plain language.

Article 1 — Purpose

The platform exists to increase real-world encounter, belonging and participation in France. Screen time is a cost, never a goal; every metric we optimise is measured in rooms, not sessions.

Article 2 — The person

Members are citizens, not inventory. Profiles carry what a neighbour would know, not what a broker would buy.

Article 3 — The civic layer

Cercles, campaigns, needs, programs and restitutions are free for every person and association, forever. Collectivités pay for their workspace; residents never pay to participate.

Article 4 — Money

Fees are published, capped, and benchmarked. Nothing is charged on public money. There is no advertising and no sale of individual data.

Article 5 — Honesty of content

Demonstration content is labelled and refuses real actions. Prices are the host's stated figures. Nothing on the platform pretends to be what it is not.

Article 6 — Procedure

Campaigns move forward only, one dated stage at a time, and their record is public. One account, one signature.

Article 7 — Data

Participation data belongs to the commons: aggregate and open for public benefit, individual and closed for everyone else.

Article 8 — Governance of the platform

A charter council with citizen majority reviews changes to these rules; the États Généraux du Lien Social re-examines them every five years.

Hold us to it

The charter is only as strong as the people reading it.
