Environmental Participation Guide
What would you like to do?
Clean-ups, tree planting, biodiversity counts and air-quality observations — done together, and recorded honestly.
1. Choose an action
Report an environmental issue, join a clean-up or a planting day, or contribute to a citizen-science programme.
2. Observe with a protocol
Programmes publish their method. Observations appear as "submitted" until the organisation running the programme verifies them.
Tip: Record the date, the place at neighbourhood level and a photograph.
3. From data to action
Participatory datasets can support a proposal — they show what volunteers recorded, not an official measurement.
4. Look after what was done
Community monitoring after a project — watering new trees, checking a site — is where lasting change happens.
